Please read carefully our Privacy Policy, which applies in all cases when you access our website, reachable at (hereinafter, the “Site”), regardless of the purchase of the products. We inform you that MASS Srl will process the data you provide in accordance with regulations regarding the protection of personal data. The personal information you provide is collected for the following purposes: handling orders and shipments, communication about your purchases and/or your explicit requests of information about products and quotations, statistics, sending out information and commercial material, including through the use of email. In any case, your data will never be disclosed or sold to third parties.

Within MASS Srl your personal data may be known only by those specifically in charge, operating in our ICT, marketing, administration, accounting and customer service departments.

You must be over 16 years old to register on this Site and to allow us to collect and store your personal data. If you are under 16, we have the right to block and/or cancel your account or user profile. Parents or guardians of the minor can in any case contact us to block the account or the profile of the child they are responsible for, via email at

Optional or compulsory communication of data

The provision of your personal information to MASS, when requested in several occasions of collection, may be necessary to achieve the specified purposes, or optional. The mandatory or optional nature of the data is specified by an asterisk (*) placed at the side of the information that is compulsory.

If you refuse to communicate to MASS some of your data, labeled as mandatory, makes it impossible to achieve the main purpose of the data collection and it could, for example, make it impossible for MASS to perform the sales contract or provide the other services available on the Site, such as the assistance of our customer service, sending our newsletter with special offers and discounts, or other similar services.

The provision to MASS of additional data, other than those marked as compulsory, is optional and has no consequences in order to achieve the main purpose of the collection.

According to art. 7 of the L. Decree 196/2003 you have the right to obtain at any time from the data processor information on the processing of your data, its methods and aims and the logic applied to it as well:

  1. the confirmation of the presence of your data and their communication and their origin in intelligible form;
  2. the identity of the owner and managers and the persons or classes of persons to whom the data may be communicated or who can learn about them as managers or agents;
  3. updating, correction and integration of data;
  4. the cancellation, anonymization or blocking of data processed in violation of law, including data that don’t need to be kept for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;
  5. the confirmation that the operations referred to in points 3) and 4) have been brought to the attention of those to whom the data were communicated and disseminated, with the exception of cases where this proves impossible or involves a use of means clearly disproportionate to the protected right.

However, you have always the right to object, totally or partially, to the processing of your personal data:

  1. for legitimate reasons, even when relevant to the purposes of the collection;
  2. for purposes of sending advertising materials or direct marketing or for carrying out market research or commercial communication.

Our principles

The principles on which our privacy policy is based are as follows:

  1. process data exclusively for the purposes and in the manner illustrated in this notice;
  2. use data for purposes other than those for which the data were specifically released only after obtaining the consent of the user;
  3. make data available to third-party companies only for providing the requested service and as part of an appointment as controller;
  4. not disclose, assign or transfer personal data to third parties for their exclusive purposes without the users have received prior warning and have granted their consent;
  5. respond to requests for cancellation, variation and integration of personal data, opposition to data processing for the purpose of sending commercial information and advertising;
  6. ensure proper and lawful management of data, protecting user privacy and implementing appropriate measures for security and protection of the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data provided.

How and why we process your personal data

The processing operations on your personal data are carried out mainly through electronic and computer systems by MASS and other subjects, selected with care for their reliability and competence, that carry out operations that are essential to achieve the purposes strictly related to the use of the Site, its services and to purchase products on the Site (see below, “Parties who may process your personal information").

In general, your personal data is processed to provide the following services available on our Site:

  • Registration or request for the services and promotions offered on the Site, newsletter
  • Processing orders and related activities
  • Management of payments, including fraud control when paying by credit/debit card
  • Handling of your requests: be they technical, commercial, on the progress of your orders and requests for information in a broader sense
  • Contact our offices (sales department, marketing, purchasing, customer service, etc.)
  • Request for evaluation for your inclusion in our personnel, by submitting your C.V.
  • Send, with your prior consent and for marketing purposes, commercial communications through various channels, both electronic and telematic systems (email, SMS) and traditional (paper mail, telephone)
  • Collect data to create your own user profile, allowing us to send, with your consent, business proposals aligned to your interests, thus improving your browsing experience on the Site. Profiling is done for example through the use of third-party cookies. In this regard, please read our Cookie Law.

Any other type of treatment, different from the specific one for which you provided your personal information, will be indicated and prosecuted by MASS only after obtaining your expressed consent.

There are, however, treatments for which the law provides for the exclusion of your consent: for example, we inform you that MASS can process your personal data without your consent if this is necessary to fulfill a legal obligation or when it is necessary for carrying out its contractual obligations towards you.

Also, note that article 130, paragraph 4 of Law 196/2003 of the Italian legislation on the protection of personal data permits MASS, without the need to obtain your consent, to use your data for direct selling activities involving products similar to those you have already purchased and for opinion polls, as long as you refuse to allow such use of the email address released.

It may happen that MASS has to process personal data of third parties, notified directly by other users, for example if a user has purchased a product that has to be sent as a gift to a friend or when the person who pays the price for the purchase of the product is different from the person to whom it is intended, or when a user wishes to inform a friend about one of our services or a particular offer. On these occasions, MASS will make sure to notify the third party about the art. 13, Legislative Decree 196/2003 when records in its archive its data, but it is responsibility of the former user any obligation to obtain the consent of the person before communicating his data to MASS and to inform him about this Privacy Policy, because that user will be the one and only person responsible for the communication of information and data about third parties without them having granted their consent or their possible misuse. Please note that the consent of these persons is not required when their data is communicated to MASS for the conclusion of the sale contract with MASS in favor of the third-party.

MASS reserves the right to delete accounts and all related data if illicit contents is discovered, where illicit means: harmful to the image of MASS and/or its products or those of third parties, offensive, promoting illegal or defamatory activities, pornographic, inciting violence, promoting discrimination based on race, sex, religion and sexual orientation.

Parties who may process your personal information

MASS can make use of other companies for processing your personal information to certain activities. The companies that conduct such operations have been carefully selected and are experienced, capable and trustworthy, and offer sufficient guarantees of compliance with the applicable rules on treatment, including all the aspects of data security.

These companies have therefore been appointed "Controllers" and carry out their activities in accordance with the instructions given by MASS and under its control (see section "Data Processors"). Periodically we check that they have fulfilled their tasks and continue to offer sufficient guarantees of compliance with the provisions regarding the protection of personal data.

For how long we keep your data

MASS will retain your personal data for the duration of the contractual/commercial relationship and unless you request cancellation (in accordance with the means indicated in this privacy policy); and, beyond these, until the expiry of the mandatory statute of limitations in accordance with the applicable regulations in force.

Security measures

We take appropriate security measures in order to minimize the risk of destruction or loss - even accidental - of data, unauthorized access or treatment not allowed or inconsistent with the purposes of collection as indicated in our Privacy Policy.

However, MASS can not guarantee its users that the measures taken for the safety of the Site and the transmission of data and information on the Site, limit or exclude any risk of unauthorized access or dispersion of data by devices pertaining the user: please, make sure your computer is equipped with appropriate software to protect data transmission on the network, both incoming and outgoing (as updated antivirus software) and that your internet service provider has taken appropriate measures for the security of data transmission network (such as firewalls and spam filters). On the Site each purchase and money transaction is done in complete safety using the most advanced technological systems and coding (SSL).

This Privacy Policy is governed by Italian law and in particular by the Code regarding the protection of personal data (Legislative Decree 30 June 2003 no. 196) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 which regulate the processing of personal data - also held overseas - carried out by anyone who resides or is based in EU. These laws ensure that the processing of personal data is carried out in compliance with the fundamental rights and freedoms and the dignity of the users, with particular reference to confidentiality, personal identity and the right to the protection of personal data.
