Mass S.r.l. (Manifatture Abbigliamento Sportivo S.r.l.) was founded in 2005. The company distributes technical sports apparel bearing the Mass label and is a leading brand recognised and appreciated nationally and internationally.
The company is the result of a fusion of two souls, a productive one and a commercial one, both already consummate players in the sports apparel sector, the ideal complement for a successful business Mass later turned out to be.
Mass started out in Anagni, near Frosinone, and soon emerged as a young, dynamic organisation with a sound structure.
The year 2005 was a fundamental year: the efforts put into delivering a sophisticated design, very good value for the money and a level of service that was already appreciated projected the company to the peaks of the sports apparel distribution sector in Italy. At the same time, the favourable sponsorship of A.C. Siena, playing in Italy's Serie A soccer championship at the time, helped it to become very well-known nationally.
In the following years, Mass was committed to expanding its international sales network, and did not take long to reach targets that were unthinkable only a few years earlier. It is now distributing its products in over 40 countries around the world. At the same time, it managed to achieve an important expansion of its line, by supplementing its catalogue, which up until then had primarily been focussed on soccer, with basketball, volleyball and athletics sports apparel.
One year which was not irrelevant was 2007, when all company shares were acquired by the current owner. Since then the company has introduced an important policy of making the best of resources, without neglecting making considerable investments (above all, prominent sponsorships of Brescia Calcio and Copra Volley Piacenza, research into products and cloths, and some real estate acquisitions).
The championship of Copra Volley Piacenza in 2009 (and subsequent participation in the CEV Champions League) along with Brescia's promotion to Serie A in 2010 are additional elements of growth and strengthening of the company's image. Its sponsorships of Benevento Calcio and Foggia Calcio are also important.
Finally 2011 was the year the company's head office was moved to Battipaglia, Salerno, into more modern spaces with storage of goods, display and office areas with a total of 5,000 sq. m. An additional functional in-house sartorial and personalisation work shop, still in the development stage, shall become the focus point of the company's vocation at the service of its customers.
